Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do (TKD) is a martial art I have practiced for the majority of my life and is one of my passions. I created a poster, logos, storybook, and animation as promotional materials for this martial art.
Inspired by Asian watercolor and calligraphy, I aimed for a unique approach to branding TKD. Instead of the typical saturated blues and reds, I used softer colors to convey a different visual system. The goal was to create a brand that not only showcases strength and power but also highlights the peace and serenity TKD brings to practitioners.
The floral drawing on this poster represents South Korea's national flower, the Rose of Sharon.
These logos were laser printed on wood to make keychains.

The following storybook, entitled Breakthrough, was created to motivate TKD practitioners through failure.
This book was arranged to be printed and folded in a diamond pattern. I also stamped the back with a wood grain pattern.
