To be loved by an artist is to live forever. 

The work I create, and the characters I animate life into, contain pieces of me, my family, and my friends. As an artist and animator, my creations are an extension of myself and my experiences. I am drawn to use art as a tool for expression: to grieve, to cope, to laugh, and to love. Although life comes with much loss, art is a way to hold onto the fragments of what once was and bring them new life. These fragments will continue to exist between pencil marks and brush strokes. I strive for others to find these pieces of themselves, their loved ones, and the experiences they wish to hold onto through my work.
